Happy Hunting

My maternity leave is fling by. Yesterday marked the beginning of week 8 and I am already back on the schedule at work. I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal sending Raegan to daycare but the closer it gets the more I don’t want her to go. Yes, I know it will be fine and I’ll be glad to be back at work, at least for the first week. On another note regarding daycare, I think we are going to start potty training Drew at home and at daycare. I am more nervous about this than anyone. He has been going on the toilet at home for awhile now but we've never been too serious about it. His teacher said since he shows interest we should go for it. YIKES!! The thought of one kid in diapers sounds wonderful ; )

Rick has been on jury duty last week and this week and yesterday was the second time he was called in. He went in and was dismissed due to the case setting out of the court room, he thought he better go since he forgot to call in on the first day and they called him at work wondering where he was….oooops!

Deer hunting was successful in just one weekend. Rick, his dad and his brother went out together this year and they finished the weekend with 3 deer. One buck and two does. I took Drew to see the deer and it might have been a tad too graphic for him, he said over and over, “uh oh deer.” While Rick was busy hunting Drew, Raegan and I visited both grandparents. On Saturday, Drew ran off lots of energy with all of his cousins at grandma and grandpa Lieser’s house while all the girls visited. Saturday night we stayed at mama and papa Schoenberg’s house. Both kids slept very well that night, they were exhausted. Drew ended up staying awake until around 11PM. On Sunday, papa waited for Drew to wake up so that he could help feed the animals outside but ended up giving up on him as he SLEPT IN!! Now, if he’d only do that more often life would be great : )
