Priceless

It sure feels like a heat wave outside after the freezing cold winter we’ve had this year.

We have been spending lots of time with the kids indoors and getting lots of stuff accomplished around the house this winter, which feels really good. Kelly came over to help me paint our newly sheet rocked laundry room “lemon pepper”. It was a color I’ve always liked and wanted to try so what better place than the laundry room…right?! I really like it and now want to paint the living room that color as well. Next project...the fireplace. Our fireplace has been sitting in the basement for…3 years now!! We are going to soon be making progress on that as well.
The picture above is priceless and makes my heart melt a little bit (Drew with papa)

Drew has been a hoot lately. He makes us laugh daily, if not hourly. The things he comes up with are hilarious. Here are a few of them: He tells us, “look, no touch” with his hand up if he wants to make a point of us staying away from whatever he is doing. Yesterday, on our way to mama & papa’s house Rick hit a pothole with the Mazda and Drew shouts out from the backseat, “dad, BE CAREFUL with this car!” He also lets us know when we can go at stoplights by saying “green, give it the green onion.” His personality is coming out so much lately and he is a joy to be around.

Raegan is growing up way too fast. With Drew, I am always wanting him to do and learn new things and with Raegan it’s different. I want her to stay my baby forever and to stay just the way she is. She is still the happiest and most content baby ever. Grandma Lieser watched her the other day and told us that if she could warm up her bottle she could take care of herself. Her teachers at school tell us she is a great baby as well. Then there is sleeping…she doesn’t do it!! Naps are few and far between and she still gets up at night. She’ll sleep from 7:30PM till 7:00AM but wakes up 2-3 times a night. I guess that is almost 12 hours so maybe it’s not so bad.

and since we haven't done anything too exciting here are lots of random pictures.....

Picking books out at the library.Drew and I went to the library for "toddler time" He loved it. We read 3 puppy books, sang songs, played with balls and made lots of new friends. Mama and Drew made Valentine cookies then shared them with everyone.

Mama took Drew sledding since it was sooooo nice outside.

.........and had a blast!!!Last but not least he got to go in the barn. He tells us, "warm in the barn, COLD outside!!"The deer that hang out in our backyard.
